Jeff Wald
Jeff is the Co-Founder and President of Work Market, a web-based platform for managing variable labor resources. Previously Jeff founded Spinback, asocial recommendation engine (sold to Buddy Media). Jeff began his career in finance with time as a Managing Director at Barington Capital, an activist hedge fund, a Vice President at The GlenRock Group, an Israeli venture capital firm and in the Mergers and Acquisitions department at J. P. Morgan Chase & Co.
Jeff serves as a director of ModusLink Global Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ: MLNK), Costar Technologies (OTC: CSTI), and is a former director of Peerless Systems Corporation (NASDAQ: PRLS),and Register.com.
Jeff holds an MBA from Harvard University and an MS and BS from Cornell University. He formerly served as an officer in the Auxiliary Unit of the New York Police Department. Jeff is a regular writer in Huffington Post and Forbes and speaks widely at conferences and television on startups and labor issues.
