Beck Willis
Beck Willis is the data analyst for The Task Force’s Global Trachoma Mapping Project. She graduated from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health with a Master of Health Science, specializing in Global Disease Epidemiology and Control. She was a GlaxoSmithKline graduate fellow at the Task Force during her master's program. Beck manages data received through the Global Trachoma Mapping Project (GTMP).
Prior to joining The Task Force, Rebecca was the immunization study epidemiologist for the Georgia Department of Public Health, where her primary responsibility was conducting a two-year-old immunization study. During her four year tenure, she developed a web-based data collection system for her study and changed the data collection requirements to include information about reasons for inadequate immunization. Because of this additional information, Beck was able to measure the bearing of vaccine hesitancy in the minds of parents of Georgia's two-year-olds.
