Christopher Zember
Christopher Zember is Visiting Senior Research Fellow at the National Defense University, where he advises Pentagon and White House leaders on the implications of emerging and converging technologies for national security. He also serves as Chief Technology Officer at Alion Science and Technology, an advanced science and engineering company with 80 years of experience applying cutting edge science and technology to solve complex problems. In 2016, Christopher was appointed to a 2-year term on the International Security Council of the World Economic Forum. His prior positions include work in Defense research and engineering, national security policy, Defense planning, and intelligence analysis, with posts both inside and outside government, in the U.S. and abroad. Besides his national security work, Christopher is an avid practitioner of yoga, plays traditional Indian music, and works with his wife to raise money and awareness to fight human trafficking.
