Johnathan Silver
Johnathan Silver reports on his state's criminal justice system for The Texas Tribune. Prior to the Tribune, Johnathan was a Texas Associated Press Managing Editors Buster Haas intern and staff reporter at the Victoria Advocate in South Texas, where he covered three counties and politics. Before that, he was a contributor to Latino Leaders Magazine. A Fort Worth native, Johnathan got his start in journalism through his campus newspaper at the University of Texas at Arlington. Johnathan worked his way up to the managing editor post at The Shorthorn and graduated with bachelor's degrees in political science and criminal justice.
