Scott Picken is the founder and CEO of Wealth Migrate, the premier online global real estate investment marketplace. A serial fintech entrepreneur, Scott saw the opportunity during the heart of the global financial crisis to help investors secure previously-inaccessible, wealth-building assets through innovative new financial technology. The Wealth Migrate platform offers investors access to quality opportunities and partners in first world markets, with investment minimums as low as $100. To date, Scott has helped more than 2,500 investors on four continents invest more than $250 million across the globe, including in China, where Wealth Migrate recently opened its latest office. Scott is recognized as a thought leader in the growing global ‘Wealth Movement,’ an initiative with the mission to close the ‘wealth gap’ and empower one billion people by 2020. He is the author of Property Going Global and a graduate of the University of Cape Town where he did his dissertation on how technology was going to disrupt the real estate industry in 1998. After doing his master’s on the same topic in London in 2001, he has spent his entire career making this happen.
