Rammohan Malasani
Rammohan “Ram” Malasani is the founder and CEO of Securifi, a company defining next generation consumer routers and home automation products.
Creator of Almond, the world’s first easy-to-use and attractive router, Securifi is turning the humble home router into a Wi-Fi, security and smart home platform. The company’s mission is to simplify Wi-Fi and the connected home space for the masses.
As CEO, Ram oversees the corporate direction, product roadmap and technology strategies for the company. With over 15 years in the Wi-Fi industry, Ram’s inventions resulted in several highly successful companies like Securifi and Ubiquiti. He has also shown a knack for building challenging hardware companies with little external VC funding. Prior to Securifi, Ram co-founded Ubiquiti Networks, a developer of high performance networking technology for service providers and enterprises (currently valued at over $4B). Under his leadership, the company was profitable while never raising VC funds.
Ram received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Madras and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of California, San Diego.
