Bill Leake is a former McKinsey & Co consultant and Dell executive, and current CEO of Apogee Results. Bill has been involved in driving provable revenues through Internet marketing techniques since the mid 1990s when, as part of the management team at Power Computing, he built the first company to sell $1 million of product over the Internet.
Before 2016 he led all customer- prospect- and influencer-facing marketing functions for Rimini Street, a pre-IPO enterprise tech company. While there, revenues grew from 68 million to a 130 million run-rate in under 2 years. Over the years, Bill has guided several Apogee-branded marketing companies from inception to success, with his current team at ApogeeResults.com being recognized as one of the most talented independent online marketing agencies in North America. Apogee has been particularly instrumental in building many dozens of successful VC-backed tech- and “Internet Retailer 500”- companies, and has helped grow more Inc. 500 / 5000 companies than anyone else in the industry (in addition to serving top global brands like Whole Foods, IBM, SAP and Hewlett Packard). Earlier in the century Bill was President of Journyx, one of the earliest SAAS (software as a service) companies, which grew to become one of the 500 largest software companies in N. America. A former board member of the Austin Technology Council, Bill also makes angel investments, serves on the board of the search marketing industry trade association (SEMPO), speaks frequently at many national conferences, and literally wrote THE book on “Complete B2B Online Marketing” (Wiley publishing). Bill received an MBA w/ honors from the University of Texas at Austin and his B.A. from Yale University
