Jessica Freeborn

Jessica Freeborn currently works as an acquisitions executive at Focus Features where she attends festivals and markets in search of films for domestic and worldwide distribution. She has overseen acquisitions including THE FOREST, Natalie Dormer and Taylor Kinney directed by Jason Zada, as well as A LITTLE CHAOS, starring Kate Winslet and Matthias Schoenaerts directed by Alan Rickman, MAPS TO THE STARS and UNDER THE ELECTRIC SKY.

After attending the American Film Institute where she earned an MFA in Producing, she began her career at Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions in the Production division until 2010. From 2010 to 2014 she worked with GK Films initially and Film District (LOOPER, DRIVE, OLYMPUS HAS FALLEN) before the transition to Focus Features
