Imran Charania is the Founder & CEO of Nectar, a startup that revolutionizes the agriculture industry by designing, manufacturing, and distributing intelligent indoor farms with the mission of transitioning the human race towards a sustainable food system. Imran is an experienced entrepreneur and engineer who has been involved with multiple startups. He previously worked for Kubos, an aerospace software company that developed an open-source space flight software platform to make space accessible to everyone. Prior to working for Kubos, he started his first company, Cirkyt, a company that designed an integrated sensor module for the fashion industry. When he is not working, Imran volunteers in the Dallas startup and technology community. Imran has served as the Internet of Things Track Captain for Dallas Startup Week in 2016 and has been a mentor at multiple Startup Weekends.
