Annie Granatstein
Annie Granatstein is the head of The Washington Post’s WP BrandStudio. Since coming on board in October 2015, she has grown the team to 3x the revenue and staff, shepherding inventive multimedia programs for a slew of diverse major advertisers, including Allstate, Prudential, Jaguar, Mercedes, Siemens, Dell/Intel, IBM, FX, SyFy, and more. Prior to joining The Washington Post, Annie ran SlateCUSTOM, Slate’s in-house creative agency. She draws on a one-of-a-kind background that spans the gamut of branded storytelling—from content strategy and creation to copywriting and video production. Before joining Slate, she founded the content-marketing arm of a communications agency where she strategized and crafted thought-leadership articles, infographics, and other pieces that posted on Forbes, VentureBeat, Ad Age, TechCrunch, and more. In former incarnations, she was an A-list entertainment attorney and independent film producer toiling in the heart of Hollywood.
