Cathy Bodine
Dr. Cathy Bodine joined the University of Colorado in 1996. With joint appointments in the College of Engineering and Applied Science and the School of Medicine, she is leading the development and implementation of an interdisciplinary PhD, Masters and Undergraduate track in Bioengineering focused on Disability and Aging. Internationally recognized for her leadership in the field of assistive technology (AT), she vigorously pursues her passion for new product design, research, service to families and persons with disabilities, and the professional assistive technology community at large.
Dr. Bodine has served as the principal for multiple research and development projects leading to new designs in AT and mainstream commercial products. She is currently the principal investigator for the Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center for Advancing Cognitive Technologies. Dr. Bodine is a Fellow of the Rehabilitation Engineering Society of North America.
