Razib Khan

I do genetics. I write. More broadly, I am a public intellectual without portfolio. I have opinions on a wide range of topics.

I have written for publications that include The New York Times, Slate, & The Guardian, on a broad range of topics. I previously consulted for Family Tree DNA and currently consult on human genomics for National Geographic, and PBS’ Finding Your Roots, as well as various efforts for which I am under non-disclosure agreements.

I hold degrees in biology and biochemistry from the University of Oregon, and am currently on leave from the University of California at Davis’ genetics Ph.D. program. My current list of publications is available on my Google Scholar profile.
