Rachel Menzies
With over 10 years experience in the Music Industry Rachel has proven success in Music Supervision, New Business and International Development within the music publishing space. She was recruited by West One Music at a young age to implement and develop a company sales strategy that would essentially get their existing catalogue of music into the hands of professional music users and in turn grow the company profit substantially. She has spent the last decade mentoring and managing sales teams in the UK, Germany & France, working closely with creative teams Globally from the Broadcast, Film, Gaming and Radio industries to drive music placement in their productions.
In 2013 Rachel set up Hookline LTD, a boutique music publisher and sync agency who represents a carefully curated collection of artists and bands from around the world. Hookline has placed music in productions such as Game of Thrones, Top Gear, Dr Who, X Factor and Family Guy, worked regularly with clients such as the BBC, Sky TV, Discovery Channel, Fox, Disney and MTV as well as brands such as Coca Cola, Heineken, Amazon, British Airways, Premier League and Starbucks to name just a few.
Rachel joined the Native Music Supervision team as a Music Supervisor early in 2015 and has since worked on projects with some of the biggest brands and artists in the world. Most recently supervising the award winning Thatchers ‘Slow Motion’, Pepsi Max Taste Revolution and HSBC’s: The Den spots.
