Hisham Dahud
Hisham Dahud possesses a unique perspective of the music/entertainment landscape as a seasoned digital strategist, brand builder and active musician.
He earned his stripes in the music business working with the legendary DJ Shadow on marketing and merchandise operations, simultaneously documenting the burgeoning San Francisco music/tech scene as an analyst for Hypebot and Billboard. In 2011 he helped launch the digital strategy agency Fame House – helping artists capitalize on their online presences by connecting with fans through highly unique campaigns (clients included Eminem, Tiësto, Pearl Jam, Richie Hawtin, Beatport and more). He's toured the world with some of electronic music's most prolific artists building brands and activating global audiences. In 2013, his company was acquired by SFX Entertainment – a dominant network of electronic music event producers and globally touring festivals. It was later purchased again by Universal Music Group in late 2016.
An entrepreneur at heart, Hisham exited shortly thereafter.
Today he works independently with select clientele at the intersection of music, entertainment and technology. Eager to harness the industry leaders of tomorrow, he lectures adjunctly at ICON Collective – a forward thinking music production institute that equally nurtures creative thinking and technical ability. On a more casual day you'll find him producing music, skateboarding the streets of Los Angeles, or utterly consumed with professional wrestling.
