Claire Parr
Claire West Parr is a 35 year veteran of the music industry. She grew up in Dallas, Texas in the music industry as the daughter of Jim West, respected jazz bassist and vocalist and founding pioneer in the commercial music and radio worlds. Her early years were spent in studios and in live sound engineering across the US, and around the world. She owns The Navigator Company, a 20 year old promotion and marketing company that works with Warner Music, Universal/Republic, Sony/BMG and independent labels. She recently relocated back to Nashville and founded Claire West Design, a custom high end fashion line and will be featured at Men’s Fashion Week in Florence, italy this summer. She also works with companies like Microsoft and IndyCar to produce exclusive experiential events featuring emerging artists, famous chefs and special guests. She co-founded and was co-CEO of Live In the Vineyard and Yountville Live in Napa, California from 2008-2017. Live In The Vineyard, over the past 9 years and 19 events, has become one of the most exclusive and respected private music festivals focused on contemporary pop music with partnerships with Starwood/Aloft, Southwest, Sutter Home, and UPS, amongst others. She is a Texas native and started her record career in California as VP of Enigma and Geffen Records, and then spent 7 years in Nashville as VP of Curb Records. In 2000, she migrated to New York and spent 8 more years consulting major labels on promotion and marketing and artist development strategy. Her specialty in the business and entertainment world today is developing and launching brands, and creating unique content and experiential avenues for companies and special events.
