Hector Negroni is the Co-Founder, Co-Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Investment Officer of Fundamental Credit Opportunities (FCO). He has been a leader in US public sector investing for the last three decades and his efforts have produced tens of billions of dollars of financing for infrastructure and essential services at the Federal, State and Local levels. He has pioneered innovative solutions for a wide range of governmental needs including: securitizations, structured products, public/private partnerships, tax credits, derivatives and direct lending initiatives.

Prior to forming FCO, Mr. Negroni was the head of Municipal Trading at Goldman Sachs, charged with oversight over all capital commitments, and prior to that, he worked at Société Générale, Lazard Fréres and Citigroup in different investing, structuring and leadership roles. Mr. Negroni is frequently sought out by industry thought leaders, policy makers, academia and the media and he sits on the Advisory Boards of the National Institute of Public Finance and the Center for Municipal Finance at the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy. Mr. Negroni earned a BS from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He lives in New York City with his wife and two daughters.
