June James
June James is not only a passionate producer, but also an accomplished Jenius, born and raised in Houston, Texas. He has the ability to play every horn instrument and began producing hits in 2007. Since then, June has produced for an array of artist, including T.I., Gucci, and Young Dolph. He was awarded “Producer of the Year” at Houston’s Hottest Awards in 2014 and was in jail when awarded his second “Producer of the Year” award at the 2015 Go DJ Awards.
Outside of producing, June attended college at Texas Southern where he curated LAD DJs, a coalition that began in 2011 and grew to have 40 members that changed the college and club scenes by consistently breaking the latest records. In addition, June James is the founder of the collaborative music group, The Hit Cartel, established in 2014. The Hit Cartel houses producers, engineers, songwriters and artist.
For more than 10 years, June has been producing records for artist from all levels.
June’s first major placement was “Big Faces” by Plies. Recently, June signed an exclusive songwriter and co-publishing agreement with Think It’s A Game Records and TIG7 Publishing. June finished 2016 with one of the top songs on the charts, “Key to the Streets” Remix by YFN Lucci, ft 2 Chainz & Lil Wayne. To kick of 2017, June not only produced “Everyday We Lit” by Y.F.N. Lucci and PnB Rock, he has locked down four spots YFN Lucci’s next mixtape and also a record on 2Chainz upcoming album, Pretty Girls Like Trap Music.
