Karen Skloss
Writer/Director Karen Skloss is an award-winning filmmaker with work shown on HBO, in the Museum of Modern Art, in wide theatrical release and in film festivals internationally. Sunshine, which premiered at the SXSW film festival, was shown on PBS’s Independent Lens series. As an editor, her work includes the celebrated documentary, Be Here to Love Me: A Film About Townes Van Zandt (dir. Margaret Brown), Taken by Storm (dir. Roddy Bogawa), about Hipgnosis album artist Storm Thorgerson, several other documentary features as well as shows for Jerry Bruckheimer Television, A&E, Discovery, TLC and TNT. She is currently in post production on a feature film called, The Honor Farm and is the drummer for the band Moving Panoramas.
