Morgan Ressa
Morgan Ressa is a publicity director with over a decade of experience working in entertainment in Los Angeles and New York. Specializing in publicity strategy and campaign management for film, Morgan works directly with filmmakers and producers to debut their films on the festival circuit and leads national publicity campaigns for theatrical releases. More recent projects include Mike Birbiglia's "Don't Think Twice" (The Film Arcade), Independent Spirit Award winner, “Krisha” which had its debut at SXSW '15 winning the Grand Jury Award and Audience Award (A24), Andrew Neel's acclaimed Sundance debut “Goat” (MTV), Sean Baker’s Independent Spirit Award winning “Tangerine” (Magnolia), the 2015 Sundance Audience Award Winner “James White” (The Film Arcade), Patrick Brice’s sex comedy “The Overnight” (The Orchard), Miroslav Slaboshpitsky's 2014 Cannes breakout, “The Tribe” (Drafthouse Films), and Ana Lily Amirpour's Gotham Award winning vampire slasher, “A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night” (Vice Films). Morgan has worked on-going with filmmakers and auteurs such as Mark & Jay Duplass, Ira Sachs, and Slash. Morgan has worked at Brigade Marketing, heading up their Los Angeles office, at PMK*BNC in both their NY and LA publicity offices, at Lionsgate as part of the team that developed the television network Epix, and at MTV as part of the Live Events Department ushering in such events as the 2003 VMAs. Morgan is a graduate of James Madison University.
