Paula Buck
Paula Buck, Operations Manager at B:E, works across several functional areas of the organization, including Human Resources, IT, and Facilities. One of her primary areas of focus includes the integration of coaching with HR. Before joining B:E, Paula began her work in the social services field as a Program Assistant, then Advocacy Supervisor for Voices for Children, the San Diego CASA program. After joining B:E in 2015, Paula went on to receive her coaching certification through Leadership That Works, with the intention of furthering the coaching model at B:E within all levels of the organization. In her current capacity as Operations Manager, Paula co-facilitates monthly coaching clinics in which all staff practice core coaching skills and hybrid coaching/case management techniques based on the organization’s model of CCRW (Creative, Connected, Resourceful, and Whole). Paula received her B.A. from UCLA and her M.A. in International Policy Studies from the Monterey Institute of International Studies before entering the social services field.
