Benjamin Vermeil
Benjamin Vermeil joined Because Publishing at the early start of the company, spanning over a decade, after a stint at Universal Music and African music label Boss Playa. He shifted as Head of International Repertoire and A&R Manager at Because Publishing in [insert year].
Vermeil played a crucial role in signing acts such as Foals, Cody ChesnuTT, Paul White, Pete Yorn, Freedo (producer for Zara Larsson's Lush Life), Holy Oysters, Big Ali and more. He also orchestrated sub-publishing deals with companies such as Global Publishing, Pulse, Greensleeves and Prince's NPG Publishing. Vermeil moved to Los Angeles in 2015 to set up and run the company's US office where he's working with artists such as Daft Punk, Christine and the Queens, Justice, Cerrone, Selah Sue, Django Django etc.
