Sean Ferrell
Sean M. Ferrell is a dynamic business development leader who has carved a niche for himself forging industry–education partnerships on behalf of major brands around the world. He currently serves as Senior Vice President of EdVenture Partners (EVP), an organization that provides experiential learning opportunities to college students with brands such as AT&T, Coca-Cola, Honda and dozens of other companies, government agencies, nonprofits, trade associations and nonprofits. Mr. Ferrell was personally responsible for launching programs for Citibank, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, FBI, Honda, Moroccan American Trade and Investment Council, the State of Qatar and several other federal and intelligence agencies. Working in concert with EdVenture Partners’ Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ferrell has expanded EVP’s footprint from the United States and Canada, to South America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia. At last count, EVP has designed and managed programs at over 800 schools internationally. Throughout his 18 years of employment with EdVenture Partners, Mr. Ferrell has been involved in all facets of the organization, including serving on the senior management team and as director of strategic planning, all with a focus on pursuing new opportunities that allow EVP to maintain its position as leader in the industry–education marketplace. With the success of EVP’s peer to peer (P2P) model and its recent program iteration to challenge extremism, which Mr. Ferrell helped to launch with Facebook and the U.S. Department of State in 2015, Facebook is growing this program with EVP as one of their priority initiatives to push back against online hate, prejudice and extremism around the world. In addition to spearheading this and other products, taking an active role in product development and implementation, Mr. Ferrell continues to serve at the helm for EVP in global sales and development. Mr. Ferrell graduated from Eastern Washington State University with a Bachelor of Arts in business administration, marketing, and has completed additional training in sales and project management. He resides in southern California with his wife and two sons.
