Alden Fertig

Alden Fertig is the Vice President of Product at Ustream, an IBM Company. He is responsible for overseeing Product and Customer Success. Under Alden’s product leadership, Ustream has developed several new product offerings, including Ustream Align and Ustream Demand, which enable enterprises to stream internal video assets and capture live and on-demand video, respectively.

Alden possesses strong expertise in web broadcasting, streaming video encoding, audio production, engineering, mixing, and mastering. He has been a featured speaker at Streaming Media, Government and Digital Video Expos, the NAB Show and Event Tech conferences and his instructional videos and courses about online video production and live streaming have garnered over 1 million total views.

Within the Ustream company, Alden has held positions in Live Event Operations, Product Management, Product Marketing and Customer Success.

Alden holds a Masters in Management and Organizational Communication from Emerson College.
