Ryan Donovan is VP Marketing for Fanatics, a position he has held since April, 2013. Ryan is responsible for all facets of the business related to brand and advertising for its Fanatics and FansEdge brands.
Prior to Fanatics, Ryan was VP Marketing & Operations at NBC Sports and NBC Sports Network (formerly Versus). Ryan was responsible for network brand strategy, consumer marketing, advertising and on-air strategic planning. During his tenure, Ryan won 60 PromaxBDA Awards including 2011 Agency of the Year, 4 Sports Media Marketing Awards including a Titanium Award in 2011 and an Emmy.
Ryan was VP of Marketing at SS+K, a Manhattan-based advertising agency, where he led consulting for clients including Anheuser-Busch, Citibank, Time Warner Cable and the Lance Armstrong Foundation. He was integral to the development of the yellow Livestrong wristband that generated $70+ million dollars for cancer survivors during the summer of 2005.
Previously, as Marketing & Communications Manager at Fox Sports. Ryan began his career at Streetball Partners International (NBC Sports) and the National Football League.
Ryan holds a BA from Dartmouth and an MBA from Boston College.
