Emilien Moyon, PhD, is the Director of the Global Entertainment and Music Business Graduate Program at Berklee College of Music inValencia, Spain. He holds a PhD in Strategy for which he received the 2012 award for the best PhD dissertation in this field in France. His research focuses on business model innovation and strategies of change in music and entertainment. His academic work was published in top academic journals (International Studies of Management, Organization and Management International, etc.), presented to international academic conferences (xDesign Harvard, The Academy of Management, Tokyo International Music Content Forum, etc.) and music conferences (MIDEM, Sonàr, Primavera Sounds, Rethink Music, BIME, Mama, etc.). Dr. Moyon is also a co-founder of the Business Model Community, an academic community involving more than 250 researchers worldwide. In 2014, Dr. Moyon founded TEDxBerkleeValencia that he has been leading since then, and co-founded the music label Disrupción Records. Outside of academia, his business experience encompasses marketing (RC Lens, Professional Football team, NordClim) and technology startup (Adistar). When he is not developing projects in the field of music and education, Emilien is a fan of football, hip-hop and Asian food, he will never miss out on a opportunity to enjoy a nice bowl of Phö.
