Enrico Schaefer

Enrico Schaefer is the founding attorney and managing partner of Traverse Legal, PLC , an eight-attorney firm with offices in Austin, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and Traverse City, Michigan. Enrico represents First Amendment interests, pornography companies, gTLD registries, domain name registrars, internet service providers, web hosting companies, domainers, web developers, e-commerce providers, affiliate marketers and many others in the technology space across a wide range of issues tech, web and internet issues. He has handled hundreds of online defamation, privacy and infringement cases for clients, both big and small.
Enrico has first chair trial experience in a wide variety of litigation matters, including consumer class actions, cybersquatting, intellectual property, commercial, fiduciary, and IP licensing. He has tried complex litigation cases resulting in verdicts of $16.1 million dollars, $3.5 million dollars, $2.1 million dollars, among others. Enrico has been lead counsel in class actions with settlement funds exceeding five billion dollars, representing tens of thousands of class member. He is a frequent author and presenter on issues related to innovative law practice, protecting business interests in a global internet economy. Enrico has three sons ages 15, 17 and 19 and enjoys sailing, SUPing, boomerangs, hacky sac, telemark skiing and backcountry adventures.
