Matthew Schroyer
Matthew Schroyer is the founder and president of the Professional Society of Drone Journalists, an organization established in 2011 to further the adoption of drone technology by journalists. He has spoken about drone technology and sensor journalism internationally, and at SXSW, the first O'Rielly SOLID conference, DARC, IREX, Miles Beyond Mobiles, and more. His region of interest within drone journalism is the mapping of warzones, natural disasters, and historical sites, for evidence-based reporting. Additionally, he is the creator of the open-source environmental sensor initiative called DustDuino.
