David Schelzel

David is a partner at the Minneapolis law firm of Best & Flanagan, where his practice focuses on copyright, trademark and clients in the creative space. He has represented some of MN’s most famous writers and musicians, and many artists you have yet to hear. David is the singer/songwriter of the band The Ocean Blue (Sire/Warner Bros/Mercury/Universal), a member of the new international supergroup 5 Billion in Diamonds (w/ Butch Vig, James Grillo, Andy Jenks, Ebbot Lundberg, Helen White, Sandra Dedrick), and a co-founder of the Minneapolis record label co-op Korda Records (Innocence Mission, Jim Ruiz Set, the Hang Ups, the Starfolk, Typsy Panthre).
