Alexander Rea

Alexander Rea is the Creative Technology Officer of DDB New York. This updated role of a CTO in a creative agency, is responsible for providing technology leadership and oversight for all of the agency’s projects and directs the technology strategy, development and execution. A New York City-based creative professional, with almost 20 years of advertising, production, design and development experience. His early roles as a developer and passion for design and presentation makes him capable of moving between typically more left and right-brain teams. Creating digital products that enhance not replace existing human behavior. Guided by a star that will take him to his goal of changing someone’s life through an immersive eye opening digital experience. He’s been coming to SXSW Interactive every year since 2008. He’s seen a lot of the good trying to be better and a lot bad getting worse. He hopes that we will see better versions of ideas that want to really do Good.
