Toniesha Taylor

Toniesha L. Taylor is an Associate Professor of Communication in the Department Languages and Communication at Prairie View A & M University. Her research foci in African American, Religion, Intercultural, Gender and Digital Humanities. Originally from the San Jose, she attended her parent’s alma mater San Jose State University where she earned her M.A. in Communication. Dr. Taylor cultivated her interest throughout her doctoral work at Bowling Green State University where she completed her Ph.D. in Communication Studies with a focus on Rhetoric in 2009. Since earning tenure at PVAMU Dr. Taylor has published work in media criticism and digital humanities.
