Born and raised in Los Angeles, Yvonne (Gomez) Drazan has been an active participant in the music industry for over 25 years.

Yvonne joined peermusic in 2003 and is currently the Vice President Latin Division, West Coast where she discovers, mentors, and signs talented songwriters, artists and producers at every stage of their careers, as well as oversees catalog acquisitions, and maintains a deep, wide-spanning roster of Latin, Pop, and Urban writers for the US and Mexico including Prince Royce, Gloria Trevi, El Komander, the production team of Alcover and Xtassy (aka A&X) Mickey Huidobro (Molotov), Chayanne, ChocQuibTown, A Band of Bitches and producer Junior Cabral.

Prior to peermusic, Yvonne was Label Manager of Gustavo Santaolalla’s imprint Surco/Universal, where she handled A&R and project management for all the Surco acts including Juanes, Bajo Fondo Tango Club and Molotov, in addition to Gustavo’s other activities such as film scoring for Amores Perros, 21 Grams and production of Kronos Quartet and Café Tacuba.

Prior to Surco, Yvonne worked as the National Manager of Media Relations at Rhino Records and had previously been a road manager for various Latin Rock artists. In 1991, Yvonne entered the music industry at EMI Latin under the direction of Latin industry great, Jose Behar. Behar mentored Yvonne in marketing, promotions, and merchandising, for the label’s stellar roster which included the late Selena.
