A producer /engineer for over 20 years, Tim O’Heir began his career at the legendary Fort Apache Studios in Boston.
A founder and partner of Fort Apache /MCA Records, he spent most of the ‘90s working with many influential artists such as Buffalo Tom, Come, Sebadoh, Superdrag and Jay Mascis, as well as producing the soundtrack to the critically lauded films Kids and Hedwig and the Angry Inch.
Upon relocating to New York in 1999, he expanded his resume by engineering and mixing scores to films including Hedwig and the Angry Inch, In Good Company, In the Land of Women and The Savages. A platinum-selling producer, Tim O’Heir’s work in the last decade with The All American Rejects, StellaStarr* and Say Anything (among others) has kept him a top choice for young bands looking to refine their sound.
Tim has also been nominated for a 2014 Tony award for Best Sound Design for a Musical for Hedwig and the Angry Inch and is nominated for a 2015 Grammy award.
Tim lives in Dallas with his wife and son not shoveling snow.
