Anushka Sinha

Anushka Sinha is a Senior Associate Solicitor at Laura Devine Solicitors in London. Anushka specializes in all areas of business and personal immigration to the UK. She is at the forefront of the UK immigration practice, challenging policies in difficult matters. She has been invited on numerous occasions to meet with the Immigration Minister and senior policymakers to discuss changes to policy and processes. Anushka has an excellent working relationship with U.K. Trade and Investment and the British Consulate-General in New York, where she has presented alongside Entry Clearance Managers and policymakers. She also works with internationally renowned artists and entertainers, particularly in the Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent) category. In October 2013 she was appointed co-convenor of the first international subcommittee of the Immigration Law Practitioners Association, ILPA New York.

Anushka is a UK qualified solicitor. She read Law with French at Manchester Metropolitan University and spent a year reading political sciences at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Lyon, France. On completion of her bachelor’s degree, Anushka spent a further year in France reading International and European Law at the University of Toulouse. Anushka is fluent in French, speaks Hindi and basic German.

Anushka has presented at several universities in the UK during the period 2004 to 2008 including Cambridge, Oxford, Imperial College London, London Business School and Manchester University. In the US, she has presented at the British Consulate-General New York in 2008, at the Independent Wealth Planners Association in 2014, and at Brooklyn Law School in Spring 2013 & 2014. Anushka presented at SXSW 2015 during Interactive and Music on UK immigration issues.
