Jim Mahoney

Jim Mahoney is SVP, Member & Partner Success for Merlin (www.merlinnetwork.org), the member led, music focused organization providing digital music licensing for the world’s leading independents labels and distributors. Mahoney’s role at Merlin is a natural step in his journey in the independent music industry. Prior to Merlin, he served for seven years as VP of A2IM, the trade association for U.S. independent labels. His stint at A2IM included a term representing independents on the SoundExchange Board of Directors. Earlier in his career, Mahoney held senior roles at independents Fat Beats Records, Roadrunner Records and Profile Records.
