Jeffery Alvarez

Jeff is a grizzled medical device leader with 14 years of experience who loves to solve problems that both extend life and multiply happiness. He is also a cornucopia of innovation he holds numerous patents and loves to create prototypes with the things around him in true Macgyver fashion.

At Naya, Jeff leads the engineering teams and cultivates Naya’s innovation. Prior to Naya Jeff lead product development at Auris Surgical Robotics where he was the first employee.

At Auris he worked with the founder to build the team, evaluate clinical needs and architect the robotic platform that can create value real clinical value. Prior to Auris, Jeff was a Sr. R&D Engineer at Hansen Medical, where he led advanced R&D projects. He loves creating things, solving problems and laughing with the team.

He has a MBA from Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI).
