Maria Miguel Ferreira
Maria is special advisor to the Portuguese Government on Entrepreneurship. She currently works on implementing public policies to support entrepreneurs and investors who wish to set up new businesses in Portugal. Starting as a business journalist 15 years ago, she told the stories of countless startups and romanticized about becoming a founder herself. After an 8-year detour through a couple of multinational consultancy firms, 5 years ago she quit her corporate job to create Too Small To Fail, a service-provider to help shape the startup Lisbon ecosystem.
