Maureen Fan
Maureen Fan is the CEO & Co-Founder of Baobab Studios, an 8x Emmy-winning independent interactive animation studio in the SF Bay Area creatively led by Eric Darnell, Writer/Director of “Antz!” and the 4 films in the “Madagascar” franchise. Baobab Studios just received 2 Emmy wins for their short animated film, “Baba Yaga,” and their most recent animation, “Namoo”, directed by Oscar nominated Erick Oh, recently premiered at Tribeca Film Festival. The studio has also created the award-winning “Crow: The Legend” starring John Legend, “Bonfire”, “Jack”, “ASTEROIDS!”, “INVASION!”, and “Paper Birds”.
Maureen was named one of "The Most Creative People of the Year'' by Ad Age, Top 100 Influential Asians by A100, and Variety crowned her as one of the execs to watch earning a spot on their ‘Top Digital Creatives’ list. She is a judge for the Daytime and Primetime Emmys, the Annies, the PGA, on the World Economic Forum's VR/AR Council, and VP of Speakers of the VIEW conference.
