Ainsley Doty

I'm a multi-faceted writer working in Toronto, ON.

As a member of Secret Location's creative team, I help to take ideas from their infancy ("I want to make a show about...") to full actualization. This means polishing and developing ideas, building pitch packages, and using the resources out of our Los Angeles office to find the idea a home. Our projects include scripted TV series, VR documentaries, 360 videos, immersive VR games, and more.

As a part of my job, I write all kinds of stuff. On the business side, I write funding applications, pitch decks, projects overviews, and website copy. On the marketing side, I write press kits, press releases, social media posts, blogs, promos, and awards submissions. On the content side, I write scripts for TV, film, Virtual Reality, 360 videos, and more. I’m a master of voice, tone, audience, and affect.
