Sono Patel

Sono Patel is a television writer originally from New York. As an undergrad, she studied dramatic writing at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. After moving to LA, she began her career as a staff writer on NBC's romantic comedy A TO Z. From there, Sono went on to write for The CW's critically acclaimed musical CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND. Currently a co-producer on that show, she is credited with writing three of the episodes in season 1 and 2, as well as two of the songs. In addition, Sono Patel is the demented creator/writer of ABCd's upcoming digital series, GINGER SNAPS. The show tells the story of a group of girl scouts who treat their troop like a drug cartel. She is also a DOCTOR WHO fan who was featured on Skybound's YouTube series, NERD COURT. She was there to argue the case that Tom Baker made a better Doctor than David Tennant.
