Kayla Cook

Kayla Cook has successfully managed hundreds of events on the local, national, and global scale, including the nationwide Leafly Comedy Tour, the Burton US Open, and the Hanfparade in Berlin. She began her career in the wedding industry, and her innate talent and enthusiasm led quickly to event management in the wine industry.

In 2014, Kayla joined Leafly, the world’s most popular online source for cannabis information. There, she has coordinated over 150 events a year, and her skills and efforts in client acquisition and sponsorship have contributed to many hundreds of thousands of dollars in incremental sales. Kayla and her team have worked tirelessly to make Leafly the most prominent brand in the global cannabis event space, and they’ve been overwhelmingly successful.

In her new role as Director of Events and Sponsorships at Privateer, Kayla will work to drive similar success for Privateer’s entire portfolio of brands. A true innovator, Kayla’s passion for effectively implementing new marketing tactics has made her among the most influential women in the cannabis industry.
