Beverly May

Columbia Faculty, Digital Specialist for State of CA, Principal of Oxford Tech & the Concepts Lab, UX Awards Exec. Director

Beverly is the VP of UX for GE Healthcare Digital, which is involved in several AI healthcare initiatives. She also teaches in the Applied Analytics and Information and Knowledge Strategy MS Programs at Columbia University, and is the Executive Director of the UX Awards. Previously, Beverly served as a Senior Digital Specialist to the State of CA 's Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development to help overhaul their digital strategy. She has 2 decades of experience in tech management, product development and UX and has helped define and launch hundreds of new tech initiatives at agencies, publishers, startups, and in Peacekeeping at the UN.

Beverly has an Executive MBA from the University of Oxford, a Master’s degree from NYU’s ITP Program, and a BA from University of Toronto. She is a triple EU- Canadian- US citizen and a regular educator and public speaker on future trends, analytics, health, UX, and product management.
