Betty Salanic
Betty Salanic, has developed her career in investment management and is passionate about creating opportunities for underserved groups. Betty began her career with J.P. Morgan’s Asset Management division in New York as an analyst. Subsequently, she decided to pursue her passion for non-profits and international markets by joining Root Capital, an impact investment fund that provides financing to small and medium enterprises in Latin America and Africa. Most recently, she conducted due diligence on private equity and venture capital investments for Rice University’s $5.6 billion endowment. Currently, she develops strategic partnerships for the Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF) LOFT. HHF was established by the White House, its mission is to develop and support Latino leaders to meet America’s priorities. Betty graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Finance and a BS in Corporate Communication. She currently serves on the McCombs BBA Advisory Board.
