Monte Lutz
Monte Lutz is the SVP of Consumer Engagement, Digital Marketing and PR for Activision, responsible for developing and leading a data-fueled approach to marketing for blockbuster games including Call of Duty, Destiny and Skylanders. He is driving a customer-centric engagement strategy across digital, social, in-game, email, editorial, media, influencers and player support through the integration of digital marketing, CRM, communications, consumer analytics, marketing technology, consumer tech and data services.
Prior to joining Activision, Monte was the Executive Vice President of Social Strategy at Edelman, where he launched Edelman’s social incubator responsible for creating original products such as the Creative Newsroom and the Social Pulpit. Monte started his career working at CBS News and C-SPAN, when it was still ok for people to get lost in the catacombs of the U.S. Capitol. He also was a speechwriter in Washington, DC and a visiting professor at Johns Hopkins University. You can find him at @montelutz.
