Melon Rainbow is a young girl who yearns to be seen. By day she has a cleaning job in a housing association for blind people. At night she stages herself in front of her computer bathed in neon lights. Everyday life seems insignificant – except her friendship with the blind boy Albert.

Director Bio

Laurits’ graduation film "Snow" (2013) from The National Film School of Denmark was selected for IFFR and nominated for a Danish Academy Award. His short fiction "Melon Rainbow" (2015) also went to IFFR as well as OFF where it won the main prize in the Danish competition. Laurits is currently in pre-production with his feature film debut "North."
