The panel will address different strategies for getting independent films across borders and into international territories via traditional and digital distribution. Points of focus will center around the role of producing, sales, publicity and marketing (including social media, design and trailer materials), and why these are necessary in achieving an integrated campaign to help broaden the scope of a film. The panel will also discuss the differences in positioning films from a domestic to an international playing field, helping to give insight in to the steps necessary to getting ‘indies’ in front of global buyers.
