Radical Candor: How to Say What You Really Think
Today’s workplace has created an inefficiency that stifles professional growth and diminishes goodwill. Candor CEO Kim Scott’s legendary experience with Google boss Sheryl Sandberg led to the birth of Radical Candor, which she defines as an effective workplace strategy born at the crossroads of “giving a damn” and “willing to piss people off" (aka caring personally and challenging directly). Scott will join OpenTable CEO Christa Quarles, who has her own candid style, to discuss the at work applications of this movement. Their open discussion will reveal how to set the stage for radical candor by encouraging staff to say what they think, not tell people what to do, and truly give a damn.
