Target has transformed its digital culture in recent years, adopting an agile, product-model approach. As part of this change, Target has embedded accessibility into its new Digital DNA. Target’s accessibility team now works hand-in-hand with digital product teams from the outset – on discovery, design, development and implementation – to build products for a broader, more diverse audience. The results: Target’s website and apps are now leaders in accessibility among other retailers, garnering a 2016 commendation from the National Federation of the Blind.
