Women in Entrepreneurship

Women-led private technology companies are more capital-efficient, achieve 35 percent higher return on investment, and, when venture-backed, bring in 12 percent higher revenue than male-owned tech companies. Yet women owned businesses are significantly less likely to win VC backing, and if they do, often wind up disqualified from being deemed a women owned business by the government. What should governments be doing to encourage women entrepreneurs? What should they stop doing to discourage women entrepreneurs?
