NASA's Even Cooler Than You Think
NASA's Johnson Space Center is right around the corner in Houston. Sure, we’re known for training astronauts to conduct scientific research in space, but with more than 20 earth-observing satellites, NASA is also a leader in climate science research and Earth science public engagement. In fact, every one of NASA's ten US Centers is also actively involved in implementing Federal goals to reduce energy consumption. In this session we explore NASA's role in observing and understanding Earth’s global climate system and share our climate mitigation and adaptation strategies for a warming world.
