Albert Einstein said that “problems cannot be solved by the same level of thinking that created them.” Transformational change is distinguished by radical breakthroughs in paradigms, beliefs and behavior. Are we thinking big enough? We find ourselves on the forefront of integrating physical and social sciences with art and culture to solve problems and foster innovation. But will we get to where we need go by counting in baby steps? Or should we be thinking bigger in order to foster radical leaps in knowledge, technology and humanity.
